The Department of Biology is located in a $4.2 million dollar
facility, the Beech Science Center and Mabee Laboratory Complex. This
space is shared with the departments of Chemistry and Physics. The building
includes a new multimedia lecture hall, seminar room, display areas, and 13,000
square feet of laboratory space including two environmental control chambers.
All offices and teaching areas have fiber optic access to campus internet
