Builders Abroad

The mission of Builders Abroad is to provide students and faculty with opportunities for personal growth and global understanding by including international travel as an important component of teaching, research, and service. Our mission is the globalization of curriculum through the promotion of travel, exchange, and study abroad programs.

Builders Abroad believes that:

• Traveling and studying abroad can be a life changing cultural experience;

• Cultural awareness and understanding through travel and study abroad is an integral part of a liberal arts education;

• Student and faculty exchange programs promote campus diversity and cultural understanding;

• International research and service broadens the horizons of the Southwestern College community.
