CommentsThe website looks good. I would argue that under the area describing where physics graduates work you should add, "Like the proverbial 800 pound gorilla, physics graduates work anywhere or in any career field that they want to."

I enjoyed browsing your website... the personal touch was nice (photos of
real students and faculty). I was looking for course descriptions (Physics
courses) and couldn't find them with ease... do you have a link for them
online? Best, John Beyers, Ph.D. Director and Professor, Mathematics &

I would like to ask a question? If there is a 1/64 of inch movement at
zero what would be the movement 64ft up.This was a welded structure my
concern is the failure of the welds at the top of the tower.Do you know were
I can find out about this problem?

I am looking into any living relatives that I might have from my fathers
side, his name was James T Pooler Jr, his father was James Truman Pooler Sr,
I have been told that he has relatives, but I have been unsuccessful in
locating any yet, I did locate an Angela Pooler, yet I do not know if she is
a distant cousin, If you are able to contact her, please let her know that I
am searching. Thanks

You've got a really NEAT physics page! I'd be pleased to help you give it
a bit more astronomy content, however, since this is where I've landed with
my SC BA Chem/Math (w/Honors in Physics) '56 after Rensselaer PhD in '65.
It's been a FANTASTIC trip from farms in Kansas via a GREAT time at SC in
the early '50's. I'm really pleased that your program seems so vital and so
MUCH stronger than when I was there.

I am impressed by your website and the activities in which your students
are involved. Physics at Soutwestern has come a long way from the days when
I was a Physics major there in the 70's. Go Moundbuilders!!
